Fan Favorite 2017: #PutAnEggOnIt
One of the best parts of our job is scrolling through the #SimpleButTwisted tag on social media to see all of the delicious, noodle-riffic creations that fans of Cece’s® Veggie Co. are cooking up daily.
While the pasta-bilities are truly endless to enjoy more vegetables in the form of spiralized noodles, an eggcellent trend seemed to hatch organically last year: egg nests!
Egg nests are a simple but twisted way to enjoy your favorite veggie noodle variety! You’ll want to cook your noodles just a bit before you crack your egg- we suggest baking, steaming or sautéing them for no more than 2-3 minutes.
Then, arrange your noodles into a nest in a preheated skillet or baking pan, crack an egg in the middle, and continue cooking for 2-5 more minutes (the less cook time, the runnier the egg!)
Check out these amazing egg nests from some of our favorite noodle aficionados for inspiration. Don’t forget to show us how you noodle- tag your creations using #SimpleButTwisted!
