2 medium onions, sliced
2 Tbs butter
1 t Salt
1 t fresh thyme
1/4 t nutmeg
4 – 5 cups broth, chicken, beef, veg, etc
Cece’s™ Veggie Co. White Sweet Potato Noodles
1/4 cup parmesan, grated
1/2 cup gruyere, grated
Step 1: Melt the butter in a large pot over medium low heat. Add the onions and salt and cook, stirring occasionally for 1 hour, or until the onions are a dark golden brown.
Step 2: Add the thyme, nutmeg, and broth. Bring to a simmer.
Step 3: Turn off the heat and add the noodles. Let sit for a few minutes so the noodles soften.
Step 4: Top with parmesan and gruyere. Serve with french bread.
