1 pack of Cece’s® Veggie Co. Noodled Organic Butternut Veggiccine®
3 Italian sausage links (1/2 lb), casings removed
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 large garlic cloves, minced
1 bunch kale, chopped (remove stems before chopping)
1 lemon, cut into wedge
crushed red pepper flakes, to tastes
Parmesan cheese (optional garnish)
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat and add Italian sausage. Use a wooden spoon to break sausage into smaller pieces and stir occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- Removed sausage from skillet and set aside. Add olive oil, garlic, red pepper to skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add kale and continue sautéing until it starts to soften, 3-4 minutes.
- Add Cece’s organic butternut veggiccine noodles and continue to sauté until noodles are al dente and kale is tender, about another 5 minutes.
- Stir in cooked sausage and remove from heat. Divide into serving bowls and garnish each with a squeeze of lemon and Parmesan cheese, if desired. Enjoy!
