Cece’s Veggie Co. Introduces New Ready-to-Eat Varieties at Expo West
Cece’s Veggie Co., the Austin, Texas-based food brand twisting up the produce department, will unveil three new additions to their family of organic spiralized vegetables at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California, March 9-11, 2017, including Zucchini Veggiccine, Butternut Veggiccine and Sweet Potato Hash. Cece’s Veggie Co.’s motto is to keep things “simple but twisted,” and that’s exactly what the founder and his Cece’s Veggie Co. team will be doing as they twirl up samples of their newest fettucine-shaped pasta alternative and ready-to-eat hash, along with their original Zucchini, Sweet Potato, Butternut and Beet Spirals, at booth #H712.
Recently named one of the biggest food trends of 2017 by Whole Foods Market, the company debuted their line of healthy, ready-to-eat alternative to grain-based noodles – the first and only pre-packaged USDA organic spiralized vegetables – at Expo East last fall. From there, they proceeded to win “Best of Show” at the PMA Fresh Summit in October and further accelerated their rapid growth trajectory. In just one year, Cece’s Veggie Co. sprouted from distribution in a single store in Austin, Texas, to more than 500 stores in over 30 states – including major retailers like Whole Foods and Target.
“We filled a void in the market when we created the first ready-to-eat version of spiralized vegetables, which have become increasingly popular for anyone with a gluten sensitivity or dietary restrictions,” says Mason Arnold, founder and resident Veggie Nerd of Cece’s Veggie Co. “The sheer enthusiasm and incredible reception we’ve received from customers over the past year has blown us away, and we’re excited to continue expanding our line-up with more innovative and healthy alternatives for families.”
Made from 100% fresh produce that is shipped directly from farms for the freshest veggies around, Cece’s Veggie Co.’s spiralized noodles are USDA certified organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, Vegan, Paleo, low calorie and non-GMO, with absolutely ZERO preservatives, added sugars or salts. Cece’s Veggie Co. was created in 2015 after a gluten sensitivity diagnosis forced Arnold to seek gluten-free meal options for his family that even picky toddlers would love.
The Natural Products Expo West tradeshow will take place from March 10-12 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Cece’s Veggie Co. invites all attendees to stop by booth # H712, take a twirl and put a spring in their step. And just in case you miss them at Expo West, Cece’s Veggie Co. will also be at the Viva Fresh Expo in Austin April 20-22 and United Fresh in Chicago, June 13-15, 2017.
